About Me

My name is Grace, and I'm a quiet, flannel-wearing girl who loves nothing better than a cozy campfire and the smell of pine trees. I adore peonies, dogs wearing bandannas, and homemade French toast flecked with nutmeg and cinnamon.

I live in a 100 year-old  farmhouse in the Wisconsin countryside with my better half, Beau, and our silly cat named Zoom - whose greatest pleasure in life is eating popcorn and darting in and out of rooms like a secret agent. Teddy, a happy-go-lucky Goldendoodle puppy, is our newest addition to the family. He loves licking furniture, chasing leaves and getting tangled in our shower curtain.

From creaky stairs and a rustic stone fireplace, to a kitchen window overlooking the animal pen, every inch of the house is an adventure waiting to happen. Oh - and did I mention our new neighbors? Based on last roll call, we share our mailbox with three mischievous goats, two bunnies, eight chickens, 30 roly-poly pigs, two elk (can you believe it?), and a healthy assortment of tail-wagging pups and cuddly barn kitties.

Much like the historic farmhouse, our life is far from perfect - but we'd like to share some of the joys of our simple existence with you. I hope you will visit the farmhouse often - and stay for a slice of pie <3 Grace
